Natalie's Profile

Natalie is the lovely child of Mr. and Mrs. Delroy Cole. From an early age Natalie showed signs of being a good performer, always more than willing to perform when requested to do so. While at Lannamans Prep. she won the trophy for "Best Dub Poetry" in class 2 for the poem "Unshackled" in JCDC 1999 National Speech Finals held at the Ward Theatre.

Natalie received the Class 3 Dub Poetry Trophy as well as the award for the Best Overall Speech Presentation in the JCDC's 2000 National Speech Competition for the poem "Di Music".

She has been in demand to perform at several venues ever since these achievements. She has performed at JCDC annual festival events such as "Best Of Festival 2000" at the Little Theatre and at Jamaica's premier family show "Mello Go Roun 2000" held at a jam packed Ranny Williams Entertainment Center. Natalie also performed at the "National Independence Day Parade 2000" held on the lawns of Kings House.This was viewed live on National Television and had in attendance the Rt. Hon. P.J Patterson Prime Minister and Their Excellences the Most Honourable Sir Howard Cooke Governor General and the Most Honourable Lady Cooke.

She has also appeared on TVJ (National Television Of Jamaica) programmes "Smile Jamaica" and "Festival Focus". Natalie was requested to and did performed at 2nd Annual "Nuff Respect" Awards Luncheon held at New York Hilton & Towers on October 22,2000 honoring the memory of the former Consul General of Jamaica to New York Kay Baxter. Natalie also performed at the "International Reggae Day Concert 2001" held at The Bob Marley Museum in Jamaica.

Natalie is now twelve years old and is in second form at Merl Grove High School. She has already pass through the Zone and Parish elimination stage of J.C.D.C 2002 National Speech Competition. She also got selected on "Team Jamaica" to perform at the "World Championships of Performing Arts" in Los Angeles,California, Oct. 5 - 13, 2002 and is in need of sponsors for this event. She awaits all the challenges that school life has to offer in sports, academics and extra curricular activities. She says she loves acting but is taking one step at a time as the best is yet to come.
