STEPS FOR WINDOWS 2000

Step 1:

Double click on My Computer (found on the Desktop)
Look for Control Panel, double- click on this icon.
Double click on Network & Dial-up Connections.
Double click on Make New Connection.
Click Next when the Network Connection Wizard window appears.
Select Dial-up to the Internet and Click Next.
Select I want to set up my Internet connection manually, or I want to connect
through a Local Area Network (LAN) and click Next.
Select I connect through a phone line and a modem then select Next
Enter the access number: 939-5861 and deselect use area code and dialing rules. Click Next.
Enter your Username and your Password in the slot provided. Click Next.
Enter Cybervale in the slot provided for the name of the dial-up connection. Click Next.

Select Yes to create your Internet mail account. Click Next
Select Create a new Internet mail account. Click Next
Type your name as indicated by the example on the wizard. Click Next
Enter your email address i.e. your username@cybervale.com (COMMON LETTERS ONLY)
Click Next
For Mail servers both Incoming & Outgoing type mail.cybervale.com (COMMON LETTERS ONLY). Click Next
Type your Account name/Username and Password (password is optional), Click Next
Click Finish. You have successfully created a dial-up connection for Cybervale.

Step 2:

Creating a Shortcut to your connection on your Desktop
In Network & Dial-up Connection, Right-Click on your Cybervale connection, then
select Create Shortcut (using Left-click);
you will see the following message appear on your screen:- “Windows
cannot create a shortcut from here. Do you want the shortcut to be
placed on the desktop instead ?” Select Yes.

Step 3: Setting up your Email Account
For persons using MS Exchange, MS Outlook, and/or MS Outlook Express.
After starting the program, go to the Tools Menu, and then Services (Exchange & Outlook) or Accounts (Outlook Express).
Add and/or access Internet Mail or Mail areas shown.

For persons using Internet Mail
After starting the program, go to the Mail Menu, and the Options.
Click on the Server Tab.

Among the information that will be required regardless of which program is utilized are :
E-mail address : your username@cybervale.com
Account : same as your username
Mail servers (incoming, outgoing): mail.cybervale.com
